A massage school a straight run up I-24 from Smyrna and La Vergne.
Nashville Institute of Massage & Bodywork is one campus, at 311 Plus Park Blvd, Suite 270, near the airport in South Nashville. This page is for people commuting from Smyrna, La Vergne, and the Sam Ridley Parkway corridor.
Close to home, with a wide morning range.
Smyrna and La Vergne are both a straight run up I-24 West to NIMB. Google Maps puts NIMB about 15 miles from La Vergne and about 19 miles from Smyrna. For an 8:25 a.m. weekday arrival it estimates a typical drive of 24 minutes to 1 hour 5 minutes from La Vergne, and 28 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes from Smyrna, so plan on leaving around 7:20 a.m. from La Vergne or 7:10 a.m. from Smyrna. The range is wide because I-24 is busy at rush hour; on a good morning the drive is much shorter.
NIMB's 650-hour, five-month program is THEC-authorized (Institution #2093) and meets Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For students along the Sam Ridley Parkway corridor and in La Vergne, a full-time program this close to home means five focused months and then the MBLEx, instead of a part-time schedule that runs a year or more. New cohorts start every January and July. Parking at 311 Plus Park Blvd, Suite 270, Nashville, TN 37217 is free, and the classroom and student clinic are in the same suite. Call (615) 505-0025 with questions.
