A massage school one interstate away from Murfreesboro.
Nashville Institute of Massage & Bodywork is one campus, at 311 Plus Park Blvd, Suite 270, near the airport in South Nashville. This page is for people commuting from Murfreesboro, Blackman, and the MTSU area.
One road, and a plan for rush hour.
NIMB is about 29 miles from Murfreesboro, and the route is simple: I-24 West nearly the whole way. Morning traffic is the part to plan for. I-24 into Nashville is busy at rush hour, and for an 8:25 a.m. weekday arrival Google Maps estimates a typical drive of 35 minutes to 1 hour 20 minutes, so plan on leaving around 7:05 a.m. Students from Blackman and the MTSU area should allow about the same.
Why make the drive? NIMB's 650-hour, five-month program is THEC-authorized (Institution #2093) and meets Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A full-time program with a fixed end date means the commute is a five-month commitment, not an open-ended one, and you can be ready to sit for the MBLEx sooner than in a part-time program that runs a year or more. Carpooling with another Rutherford County student can make the I-24 drive easier. New cohorts start every January and July. Parking at 311 Plus Park Blvd, Suite 270, Nashville, TN 37217 is free. Call (615) 505-0025 to talk it through.
