A massage school about 20 miles from Hendersonville, with two ways in.
Nashville Institute of Massage & Bodywork is one campus, at 311 Plus Park Blvd, Suite 270, near the airport in South Nashville. This page is for people commuting from Hendersonville, Goodlettsville, and Gallatin.
Two routes, one fixed schedule.
NIMB is about 20 miles from Hendersonville. Google Maps gives two main routes: I-65 South through the city, about 20 miles, or Briley Parkway (TN-155) around the east side, about 23 miles. For an 8:25 a.m. arrival on a weekday it estimates a typical drive of 26 to 55 minutes either way, so plan on leaving around 7:30 a.m. Having two good routes helps on the mornings when one of them backs up.
NIMB's 650-hour, five-month program is THEC-authorized (Institution #2093) and meets Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For students from Hendersonville, Goodlettsville, and Gallatin, the appeal is a fixed, full-time schedule that ends in five months, rather than a part-time program that keeps the commute going for a year or more. New cohorts start every January and July, so you can plan the drive around a known start and end date. Parking at 311 Plus Park Blvd, Suite 270, Nashville, TN 37217 is free, and the classroom and student clinic are in the same suite. Call (615) 505-0025 to talk through the commute.
