A real commute, for a short program.
NIMB is about 21 miles from Franklin. Google Maps' main route is I-65 North, with Franklin Road (US-31) to I-65 as a close second, and for an 8:25 a.m. arrival on a weekday it estimates a typical drive of 26 to 50 minutes. On a normal morning, plan on leaving around 7:35 a.m. That is a real commute, and it is worth weighing against how short the program is. NIMB's 650-hour, five-month program is THEC-authorized (Institution #2093) and meets Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Five months of full days gets you to the MBLEx sooner than a part-time program that runs a year or more.
Franklin students have one more practical reason to look at NIMB: the closest affiliated Massage Envy clinic, Brentwood North, is just up the road in Brentwood, so a sponsored-track graduate does not have to commute all the way into Nashville to work. New cohorts start every January and July. Parking at 311 Plus Park Blvd, Suite 270, Nashville, TN 37217 is free, and the classroom and student clinic are in the same suite. Call (615) 505-0025 with questions about the schedule or the drive.
