The real numbers on the drive.
Clarksville is our longest regular commute, and we would rather give you the real numbers up front. NIMB is about 51 miles from Clarksville, almost all of it on I-24 East. For an 8:25 a.m. arrival on a weekday, Google Maps estimates a typical drive of 55 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes and suggests leaving around 6:45 a.m. NIMB's 650-hour, five-month program is THEC-authorized (Institution #2093) and meets Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This is a daily drive for five months, not a once-a-week trip.
Why do people from Clarksville and Fort Campbell make it work? The program ends in five months rather than stretching across a year or more, the schedule is fixed from the first day, and the route is one interstate nearly the whole way. Carpooling with a classmate from Montgomery County helps. New cohorts start every January and July, so you can plan around a known start and end date. Parking at 311 Plus Park Blvd, Suite 270, Nashville, TN 37217 is free. If you are weighing whether the drive is realistic for you, call us at (615) 505-0025 and we will talk it through honestly.
